Letter: I couldn’t believe it. Oswestry Library no longer stocks encyclopedias. Before the refurbishment, it had both the Encyclopedia Britannia and the World Encyclopedia, the latter beautifully printed and in some respects the better of the two.
In praise of all at St Peter’s school
LETTER - In response to the letter of the week “Children Thrive in Our Village Schools” by Rosemary Cooper, published on November 21, and November 24. I would like to defend large schools. More specifically St Peter’s Primary School in Wem.

On the front of the Shropshire Star on November 14 , “Incinerator firm rules out other site suggestions”, John Everall stated that he “did originally think the sugar beet factory would be suitable, but it is in Telford”.
