Sun shines on flower show crowds

Thousands of people today poured through the gates of Shrewsbury’s Quarry park as sunshine beamed down on the 121st Shrewsbury Flower Show.

Gardeners show off blooms

Shropshire’s green fingered gardeners were today showing off their beautiful blooms as a distinguished panel of experts set out to choose the winner of the annual Garden of the Year competition.

Gardeners’ Chelsea successes

A garden centre in Shropshire today joined the county’s roll call of winners at Chelsea Flower Show. Wilstone House and Gardens from Shropshire won its third Merit award in a row for “an outstanding stand” at RHS Chelsea.
