How to set your home page

Here’s how you can set the home page of your Web browser to a page of shropshirestar.com so you can go straight to the section you want.

Your home page is the first page displayed when you open your browser. Setting your home page to a section of the site e.g. News Headlines or Sport is the fastest way to get to the information you want.

Internet Explorer 7

Navigate to the page you would like to set as your home page and click on the down arrow to the right of the Home button and select Add or Change Home Page:

In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box click Yes to set your home page.

Your browser will now open at the section you have set as your home page when it starts. You can also click the Home button at any time to go to your home page.

Firefox 2

Navigate to the page you would like to set as your home page and click on the Tools menu at the top and then click on Options:

In the Options dialog box click Use Current Page and then click OK to set your home page.

Your browser will now open at the section you have set as your home page when it starts. You can also click the Home button at any time to go to your home page.
